Draft Plants and Corporations at the beginning of the game. (Use the Catan Snake when drafting) When drafting set a complexity limit for the set. (see the flames next to the names, they are very light)

Drafting for Neighbor Bonus, Shuffle deck each player gets two, choose 1 and sets it to their left.
